 PENANCE ![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png){kind=small} penancerp is an 18+ horror game based in hell with a central mechanic of redemption vs corruption. Players can expect monthly events, player plot opportunities, and a larger over-arching storyline involving the politics and structure of Hell (and Heaven) itself. Characters are given a real opportunity for either option, but since damned souls fuel hell, the temptation to do bad will be far more prevalent. Monthly events will frequently center on physical and psychological torment, body horror, pitting characters against one another, exploration, navigating through hell and its inner workings and more. The more your character gives into temptation the more they will find themselves... changing. This game is sex-friendly and will deal with many potentially triggering topics.
